Our Story 

 Welcome, fellow food renegade. If you’re looking for a snooty, white-tablecloth, “follow-the-rules-or-else” kind of cooking show… well, you’ve come to the wrong place. But if you’re ready to ditch the stuffy chef hats and dive straight into the deep-fried, sauce-covered, rule-breaking world of comfort food, then pull up a chair—we’ve been waiting for you.

Hey there, you flavor fanatic. I’m the off-the-rails culinary rebel who just couldn’t stay out of the kitchen—even if the smoke alarms begged me to. I was raised in upstate New York, watching my mom whip up hearty homestyle meals that could make a frozen tundra feel cozy. One of my favorite memories? Perching on my back porch, flipping burgers on an old Hibachi grill for my family—apparently setting the stage for my future in turning raw ingredients into downright delicious chaos.

At 16, I jumped into the restaurant world, and bam—turns out I was born for the fast-paced kitchen life. Maybe it was the sizzle of the grill or the occasional flair of flambé gone wrong, but I fell in love with the creative side of cooking. Food can comfort, celebrate, and unite all at once. It’s like a giant, edible canvas that lets you show off who you are while leveling up your skills (and hopefully not losing any eyebrows in the process).

Years later, I found myself wrangling chickens at one of the largest free-range egg ranches in Colorado—because why not? Still, the kitchen kept calling, and in 2018, I answered by hauling a 300lb griddle to a farmers market every Saturday before sunrise, flipping breakfast sandwiches using my ranch-fresh eggs. People went nuts. Lines grew, so I graduated from Griddle Pack Mule to Proud Food Cart Owner, adding even more crave-worthy bites to the menu. And the rest, my friend, is fried, crispy, saucy history.

Then came the big leap: a custom 16’ food trailer. That’s when our fried chicken took center stage. We started with just one sandwich but ended up with five different crunchy, saucy, mind-blowingly delicious versions that had folks lining up around the block. The breakfast menu didn’t stand a chance, fried chicken demanded the spotlight. But we also became known for our homemade sauces and out-there specials like Southern Fried Chicken Tacos, Southwest Smoked Pork Taquitos, Smoked Meatballs, Sweet & Sour Southern Fried Chicken Sandwiches… the list goes on.  Before long, we even expanded into a brick-and-mortar joint.

Eventually, life threw some curveballs (health issues have a way of making you slow down whether you want to or not), and we had to close the restaurant. But if you think that stopped me from creating new dishes, you clearly underestimate my addiction to all things deep-fried and slathered in sauce. So, here we are, sharing Culinary Rebellion with the world, because somebody needs to show you that there’s more than one way to roast a chicken—or grill it, or smoke it, or bury it in hot sauce, or… you get the point.

Who We Are Today

Officially founded in 2025, Culinary Rebellion is now a team of two mischievous cooks on a mission to prove that culinary school be damned, you can—and should—cook however the heck you want. We believe in rule-breaking, flavor-mashing, and having way too much fun in the kitchen. When we’re not filming, tasting, or wiping hot sauce off our clothes, we’re probably brainstorming the next big flavor explosion to share with you.

We’re big on humor, big on bold flavors, and big on making you feel like you’re part of this rebellious food family. We’ve got decades of combined experience in the kitchen (and roughly a bajillion sauce-splattered aprons as proof), so trust us—you’re in good hands, even if we might occasionally set off the smoke alarm in the process.
